Mandi Ahmedgarh: The hockey team of Hans Kalan won the 1000-gm Bhagwant Memorial Gold Cup after they beat Jarkhar Eleven to the runner-up position during the 81st chapter of the Kila Raipur Sports that concluded at the Grewal Sports Stadium at Kila Raipur village near here on Sunday.

Mandi Ahmedgarh: The hockey team of Hans Kalan won the 1000-gm Bhagwant Memorial Gold Cup after they beat Jarkhar Eleven to the runner-up position during the 81st chapter of the Kila Raipur Sports that concluded at the Grewal Sports Stadium at Kila Raipur village near here on Sunday. In kabaddi, the Hameed team bagged first prize by defeating Chandanwal boys (26-20) in the final match. A horde of spectators, including sportspersons, sports enthusiasts and children, thronged the stadium on the final day on Sunday. Congress leader Ravneet Bittu was the chief guest, while SAD Cabinet Minister Adesh Partap Kairon gave away prizes to the winners. Maghar Singh and his troupe enthralled the crowds with acrobatic performances atop their horses. Swaran Singh Kaleke lifted a bag full of sand and Lovepreet Singh of Sabran stopped two motorcycles moving in opposite directions with arms. Angrej Singh, Manjinder Singh and Arjun Singh of Patti area astonished people by squeezing through a 14-inch ring. Salwinder Singh of Dotte Sodhian lifted a plough with teeth. Sahibzada Baba Fateh Singh from Gurmat Academy, Rurka, performed gatka. — Our Correspondent

100 metre, Men (80 to 85 yrs): Nachhattar Singh of Khanna first, Teja Singh of Phallewal second, Nachhattar Singh of Mansoora third. 

200 metre (Men): Raghubir Singh of Jallandhar (20.88 sec) first , Jatinder Pal Singh of Fateh Garh Sahib ( 22.50) second, Arshdeep Singh of Patiala (23.40 sec) third. 

100-metre tricycle race: Sukha of Kila Raipur first, Joginder Kumar of Ludhiana second, Niranjan Singh of Ludhiana third. 

800 metre (Women): Amandeep Kaur of Sangrur first , Birpal Kaur of Patiala second, Navjot Kaur of Patiala third. 

MRF Tractor Tyre Rolling Race: Mohammad Mureek of Rohira first and Kamaljeet of Pratap Para second. 

800 metre (Men): Arashdeep of Patiala first , Daljit Singh of Ludhiana second and Jagdev Singh of Khanna third. 

High Jump (Girls): Jyoti of Patiala (1.60 m) first, Ritu of Patiala (1.53 m) second, Khushpreet Kaur (1.30 m) third. 

High Jump (Boys): Luv Preet Singh of Patiala (1.90 m) first , Rajit of Sangrur (1.85 m) second, Arashdeep Singh of Ludhiana (1.80 m) third. 

Tractor Trolley Loading Unloading: Sangrur Labour first and Mastuana Labour second 

8-km cycle race (Men): Sahil of Ludhiana first, Amandeep Singh of Ludhiana second, Harsimranjeet Singh of Ludhiana third.
