Brahm Mohindra promises to upgrade dispensary in six months at Issru

Indian Independence was achieved with the martyrdom of countless freedom fighters and this independence would be protected at any cost and eternal memory of our great martyrs who sacrificed their life would also be preserved to help our younger generations know the importance of independence. This was stated by Brahm Mohindra, Health and Family Welfare Minister, Punjab, while paying rich tributes to the Shaheed Karnail Singh Issru, during a function held at Isru village.

Brahm Mohindra said the previous 10 years were the most dreaded nightmare for the whole of Punjab, as during the rule of SAD-BJP combine, Punjab was pushed back to the level of economic slavery. He assured the people of Issru that the government dispensary would get a facelift within coming six months.

SAD-BJP regime an era of economic terrorism, says Navjot Sidhu

Minister for Local Governments Navjot Singh Sidhu said the previous 10 years would be registered in the echelons of history as the ear of “Economic Terrorism”. He said SAD-BJP combine had let lose his leaders to loot the economic recourses of Punjab and government recklessly plundered the wealth of Punjab. He said the Badal family was enjoying the monopoly over most of the businesses and they amassed unaccounted wealth at the cost of the welfare of Punjabis. He said the industry was finished by the greed of Akali Dal–BJP leaders and the state government will revive the industry and agriculture with needed steps in this regard.

SAD-BJP is wilfully misguiding farmers, says Sunil Jakhar

President PPCC Sunil Jakhar said the SAD-BJP combine was willfully misguiding farmers on the issue of debt waiver. He said soon the debt of farmers would be waived off. He accused the Union Government for running away from owing its responsibility on the issue of debt waiver. He said the rate of diesel should be Rs15 per litre as compared to world oil market and alleged that the Centre was looting farmers by taking Rs57.70 per litre from consumers, including farmers. He said if the rates of diesel were lowered then it could be a big step in saving the farmers from committing suicides. MLA Khanna Gurkirat Singh Kotli also paid tributes to the martyr. MLA Fatehgarh Sahib Kuljit Singh Nagra, MLA Payal Lakhvir Singh lakha, MLA Samrala amrik Singh Dhillon and a number of other leaders of Congress were also present.

Bhagwant Mann accuses Cong of backtracking on promises

Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has cheated people by backtracking from all promises made during the elections. This was stated by Aam Aadmi Party president Bhagwant Mann. He was here to pay tributes to Karnail Singh Issru at a political conference in the village. He said during the past 70 years, the governments had ruined the country and now the Modi government was out to implement Hindutav agenda which was dangerous for the social fabric of the country.

Mann asserted that during the state Assembly elections, 36 lakh people had voted for AAP and the party would win most of the seats in the coming Parliamentary elections.

Leader of Opposition, Sukhpal Singh Khaira, said the real freedom was yet to be achieved. He talked about the stalking incident in Chandigarh and said the government was hand in glove with the accused. He lambasted the Congress for cheating the farmers of the state by not fulfilling its promise of complete waiver of loans.

Cong betrayed farmers by not waiving their loans: Sukhbir Badal

It is unfortunate that the Congress government has befooled farmers by promising the loan waiver and is now betraying them by refusing to fulfil its promise. This was stated by Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal during an event to commemorate the martyrdom of Goa liberator Karnail Singh Issru. He said: “Manpreet Badal should not try to fool and cheat Punjabis. He was the finance minister for four years during the SAD-BJP rule. He knew the exact condition of the state’s finances. He was also the head of the Congress election manifesto. Now he is trying to run away from his commitment.”

Badal said the Congress government had also betrayed the youths of the state through ‘Ghar Ghar Naukari’. He said in another travesty, the government was now trying to befool the youth by bringing the annual placement drive of colleges under the Ghar Ghar Naukari Yojna.

“Congressmen have let loose the reigns of terror across the state. Recently, a Congress legislator facilitated the seizure of land of a serving Army jawan “.
