Khanna: Residents of Bardhalan village on Saturday blocked traffic by placing the body of a village youth in front of Bardhalan police chowki. They accused the police of harassing them in a theft incident at local petrol pump. The deceased identified as Gurpreet Singh was also named in the case. He reportedly committed suicide by jumping into the Bhakra Canal.—OC
