2 killed as portion of under-construction house collapses

Bareilly (UP), April 27

Two persons, including a minor girl, were killed and another one was injured when a portion of an under-construction house collapsed in Sirauli area here, the police said today.

Roopdei (55) and her granddaughter Kajal (11) were killed last night and one Rajbala was injured when the portion of the under-construction house collapsed in Rulhara village here, they said.

The incident occurred when the trio was having dinner, they said.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, the police said, adding that investigation is underway in the matter. — PTI
