6 persons crushed to death by goods train in Bihar

PATNA: At least six persons including, two women, were killed and several others injured after a goods train crushed them near Serari railway station in Shekhpura district of Bihar on Sunday evening.

At least six persons including, two women, were killed and several others injured after a goods train crushed them near Serari railway station in Shekhpura district of Bihar on Sunday evening.

The injured were taken to Shekhpura Sadar Hospital. They are yet to be identified. 

The accident occurred when people were crossing the railway track while returning home from the local market. Bad weather is said to be the reason of the accident.

After getting down from a passenger train, these people were moving on railway tracks while the goods train came from behind them and ran them over killing six persons on the spot and injuring several others.
