Some unknown bikers have been booked for having tried to snatch a handbag from a British woman in a case that was previously reported as molestation.
Two unknown bikers tried to take away the 29-year-old woman’s bag as she was walking on a street in Makrana Mohalla on Wednesday evening.
An attempt to loot a handbag of a British woman was lodged on Friday against two unknown bike runners in Sadar Kotwali area, Sadar Kotwali IO Goverdhan Ram said, dismissing previous reports of molestation.
The woman filed a complaint with police on Thursday, and police are currently going through CCTV footages to investigate the case.
