Body of 40-year-old Delhi woman found in canal in UP

MUZAFFARNAGAR: The body of a 40-year-old woman, who went missing two days back, was found in Yamuna canal near Kandhla town in Shamli district, police said on Tuesday.

Shahida, a resident of Khajuri Khas in New Delhi, went missing from his daughter’s house in Gangoh in Saharanpur district on August 11, they said.

The body of a 40-year-old woman, who went missing two days back, was found in Yamuna canal near Kandhla town in Shamli district, police said on Tuesday.

Shahida, a resident of Khajuri Khas in New Delhi, went missing from his daughter’s house in Gangoh in Saharanpur district on August 11, they said.

The body was found floating in the canal on Monday evening after which it was sent for post-mortem, the police said,  An investigation has been started, the police said. PTI
