ERODE: An elephant has trampled a 50-year-old man to death in Burgur hill area, police said on Tuesday. The man had gone out for a function and was stated to be missing since Sunday morning.

An elephant has trampled a 50-year-old man to death in Burgur hill area, police said on Tuesday.

The man had gone out for a function and was stated to be missing since Sunday morning.

Police said his relatives found his body near Guddiyur village on Monday evening with signs of him being trampled to death by an elephant. PTI
