Actor Hrithik Roshan has gotten into trouble with the Mumbai police after he accepted the fitness challenge posed by Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on social media.

After the Olympian-turned-politician nominated cricketer Virat Kohli and shuttler Saina Nehwal along with Roshan, the actor posted a photo of himself cycling under the hashtag #HumFitTohIndiaFit.

Roshan, though, did not expect to get majorly trolled online and get pulled up by the Mumbai police as well.

The videos of him riding a bicycle on Mumbai’s streets minus a helmet also showed him using a mobile phone while on the move.

“This initiative makes me so proud! Bravo. #HumFitTohIndiaFit #FitnessChallenge this is how I commute to my office every day. Sitting static in a car is such a waste. Walk, cycle, jog, feel the earth, feel India get FIT!” Roshan captioned his video.

He also nominated his parents Rakesh and Pinkie Roshan, actors Tiger Shroff and Kunal Kapoor to take up the challenge.

“This is called violation of traffic rules. @MumbaiPolice what you are going to do now? @iHrithik you should have done it in open ground rather than on busy road,” a Twitter user @DuttRisky tweeted.

“Please share the location details for us to inform the concerned traffic division,” the response from the Twitter handle of Mumbai police said.
