NEW DELHI: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday left for Turkey to participate in a two-day conference of G-20 finance ministers and central bank governors.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday left for Turkey to participate in a two-day conference of G-20 finance ministers and central bank governors.

"The Union Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley left for Turkey today to participate in the two-day Conference of G-20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors," Finance Ministry said in a statement.

Reserve Bank's Governor Raghuram Rajan will also participate in the meet to be held in Ankara, Turkey on September 4 and September 5.

"The Finance Minsters will also hold meetings with his counterparts from G-20 participating countries on the sidelines of the aforesaid meet," the statement said.

Other members of the G-20 grouping include Argentina, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, the UK, the US and the European Union.

Jaitley will reach back in New Delhi early morning on September 7. —PTI
