Kapil Garg is new Rajasthan DGP

JAIPUR: The Ashok Gehlot government on Thursday night reshuffled 17 IPS officers replacing O P Galhotra with Kapil Garg as Director-General of Police in Rajasthan.

The Ashok Gehlot government on Thursday night reshuffled 17 IPS officers replacing O P Galhotra with Kapil Garg as Director-General of Police in Rajasthan. 

OP Galhotra has been posted at DG (Home Defence) in Jaipur. 

Jaipur Police Commissioner Sanjay Agarwal is replaced by Anand Kumar Srivastav. Agarwal has been placed at ADG (State Calamity Action Force) in Jaipur. 

Special DGP (Law and Order) N R K Reddy has been made Pro-Vice Chancellor of Sardar Patel University of Police Security and Criminal Justice at Jodhpur. Mohanlal Lathar would be now ADG (Law & Order). 

Umesh Mishra is posted as ADG (Intelligence) in PHQ, Dinesh M N as IG (Intelligence), and Sanjay Shotriya as DIG in Chief Minister Security and CM Vigilance. BL Rana would be IG (Bikaner Range) and Pankaj Kumar Singh as ADG (Police Traffic) in Jaipur.
