In view of the lone wolf attack threat inputs, the Intelligence Bureau (IB) has alerted and advised Gujarat Police not to allow roadshows of political leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Sources say inputs and questioning of the two arrested terror suspects had led the IB to reach the conclusion of the lone wolf attack threat.

Urzo Khan, a resident of Ujjain, was arrested in a joint operation by the ATS, Gujarat, and the IB. During questioning, Khan told the agencies that IS-style loan wolf attack was planned on road show/rallies and also at a synagogue in Gujarat.

The IS suspect, Ubaid Mirza, during interrogation, said the arms were to be supplied by Khan to execute the attack.
