Kochi, December 16
A group of masked robbers allegedly struck a house in nearby Thrippunithura and made away with valuables, including jewellery and cash, after locking the family members in separate rooms, police said on Saturday.
The robbers, suspected to be from other states, looted the home after locking the five family members in separate rooms on Friday night, they said.
Initial information suggests that 50 sovereigns of gold, Rs 20,000 in cash and mobile phones were taken away by the robbers. PTI
