Jaipur: A medical aspirant allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling hook at her hostel room in Kota on Thursday night. Tanya Rana, 20, a resident of Kangra in Himachal Pradesh, was preparing for NEET at LN Institute for Medical Entrance in Kota. No suicide note has been recovered and the reason behind the extreme step is yet to be ascertained, the police said. The body, after postmortem, was handed over to her father who came from Delhi on Friday evening. OC
