Prime Minister Narendra Modi today engaged in a no holds barred conversation with students from across the country answering their queries on a range of subjects from his own famed fashion statements to parental pressure on children.

“I have never met a fashion designer in my entire life. I don’t have one. Fashion for me has always been a matter of comfort. It still is. That explains my short-sleeved kurtas. But yes I like to dress well. Even as a child with a family of meagre means, I found ways of ironing my school uniform,” said the PM.

The PM rued the fact that teachers remained unsung despite being the architects of great careers. “Mother gives birth to us, a teacher gives life to us,” he added.
