Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav today asserted that he wanted the party to remain united and accused cousin Ram Gopal Yadav of conspiring to break the party in connivance with the BJP.
In a five-minute emotional address to SP workers at the party headquarters, Mulayam said he had already given whatever he possessed. “What is left with me? I now only have you supporters. I have full faith in you,” he said.
“Neither the SP, nor its name or symbol will change. The SP is united and will remain so,” he said, reiterating that son Akhilesh would be the CM candidate for the coming polls.
