No Indian casualty in quake in Italy

NEW DELHI: There is no report of any Indian casualty in the massive earthquake which rocked Italy on Wednesday claiming several lives, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said.

New Delhi, August 24 

There is no report of any Indian casualty in the massive earthquake which rocked Italy on Wednesday claiming several lives, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said.

“Massive earthquake of 6.2 magnitude has struck Italy. @IndiainItaly has informed me that there is no report of any Indian casualty,” she tweeted.

At least 38 people have died after the earthquake struck central Italy in the early hours. — PTI
