Petrol, diesel cheaper

Petrol price was on Wednesday cut by 49 paisa a litre and diesel by Rs 1.21 a litre. The reduction in petrol and diesel prices, which are effective from midnight, come after two consecutive increases during February and March.

Non-subsidised LPG dearer

Oil companies firms hiked the price of non-subsidised LPG cylinder by Rs 11. Rates of jet fuel were cut by Rs 1,025 per kilolitre.
