Rajasthan Home Minister GC Kataria was injured in a road accident near Shivdaspura Toll Plaza on Saturday night.
A police escort vehicle on its way from Kota to Jaipur hit Kataria’s car at 10:30 pm. The minister suffered minor injuries to his face and nose and was taken to MG Hospital.
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje called to enquire after him. He was released from the hospital later in the night after thorough medical investigation.
Kataria’s personal staff said he was scheduled to leave for Sikar by road on Sunday.
