MUMBAI: Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has shared a video of his wife, actress Anushka Sharma, telling off a man for littering the streets of Mumbai on Monday.

Mumbai, June 16

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has shared a video of his wife, actress Anushka Sharma, telling off a man for littering the streets of Mumbai on Monday.

Kohli’s undated video shared on Twitter on Saturday showed Sharma asking a man in a black sedan why he was "throwing garbage" on the road.

While some on Twitter called it a "publicity stunt", some said the Bollywood actress could have been "more polite while reprimanding a ramdom guy".

“Saw these people throwing garbage on the road & pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same & spread awareness,” Kohli’s tweet said, with the next one reading: “Lot of people who don't have the courage to do something like this find it funny. Everything for people nowadays is meme content. Shame.” Agencies
