Stranded, MLA Bains lifts toll barrier

Ludhiana: High drama took place at Ladhowal Toll Plaza on Friday after Independent MLA Simarjit Bains and his men forcibly lifted the toll barrier and let commuters pass through without paying toll. Simarjit was seen arguing with the plaza employees, complaining that he had been stranded for nearly 30 minutes whereas “six minutes is the stipulated time”. TNS
