Student, kin die in hit-and-run incident

Erode (TN), April 24

A college student and his woman relative on a motorcycle died in a hit-and-run incident last evening, police said.

Abdul Kadar (25) and Sajitha (35) were returning to Komarapalayam after meeting their kin when a cargo van hit the two-wheeler head-on near a government hospital and sped away, they said.

The motorcyclists died on the spot, they said, adding a search is on for the van. — PTI.
