Jaipur, September 13
Three rounds of official talks between All-India Kisan Mahasabha (AIKM) and the Vasundhara Raje government remained inconclusive on Wednesday as the main demand of “crop loan waiver” was not settled yet even though agreement was reached on some of the 11 demands.
AIKM president Comrade Amraram who led the 11-member delegation held three rounds of talks with Agriculture Minister Prabhu Lal Saini, Cooperatives Minister Ajay Singh and state BJP president Ashok Parnami here till late evening.
However, another session is expected later as they are waiting for Parnami to come to the conference hall.
“Talks remained indecisive as farmers want crop loan waiver first then fulfilment of other demands,” said Ravindra Shukla, member of state CPM party. — OC
