Four persons were killed and over 50 injured when eight bogies of an express train bound for Jammu Tawi derailed in Uttar Pradesh on Monday.
The Muri Express derailed between Sirathu and Atsarai railway stations and one of them overturned, Chief PRO North-Central railway Vijay Kumar said.
District officials are shifting the injured to hospitals in Allahabad.Meanwhile, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has announced Rs 2 lakh to the families of those killed in the train accident.
