Vadodara: A 43-year-old NRI woman from Navsari district of Gujarat has successfully completed her solo car journey of 32,000 km from the United Kingdom to India.



Vadodara: A 43-year-old NRI woman from Navsari district of Gujarat has successfully completed her solo car journey of 32,000 km from the United Kingdom to India. Bharulata Kamble traversed 32 countries in 57 days to spread the message of ‘Save girls, educate girls’. Kamble drove through nine mountain ranges, three major deserts and two continents. ANI

Karan Singh re-nominated Auroville chairman      

New Delhi:  Congress MP Karan Singh has been re-nominated by the HRD Ministry as the chairman of the Auroville Foundation for a four-year term. He would function as chairman of the Board in an honorary capacity. In 2012, he was nominated as chairman of the Auroville Foundation during the UPA regime. PTI
