THE following is a statement of plague deaths reported in the Punjab during the week ending 19th December 1914:- Hissar 55, Rohtak 9, Gurgaon 22, Karnal 92, Ambala 37, Hoshiarpur 167, Jullundur 91, Jullundur City 30, Ludhiana 106, Ferozepore 14, Lahore 12, Lahore City 0, Amrtisar 170, Amritsar City 39, Gurdaspur 107, Sialkot 70, Gujranwala 141, Gujrat 72, Shahpur 8, Jhelum 100, Rawalpindi 139, Attock 31, Jhang 25. Total 1,537. NATIVE STATES.-Patiala State 112, Patiala City 0, Kapurthala State 47, Nabha State 31, Total 190.
