Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University is set to organise its Heritage Fair on February 26, which would feature games, arts and crafts, and various other activities to keep visitors engaged. Vice-Chancellor Pritpal Singh said the fair is aimed at connecting students with Punjab’s rich heritage.

Dean of Academic Affairs Sukhwinder Singh Billing said such activities are important for the overall development of the students. He said the fair would include games such as rope-jumping, spinning top, kite-flying, marbles, sack races, spinning thread, and weaving, among others. He added that activities such as phulkari, embroidery, spinning cotton cloth and patches would also be featured at the heritage fair.

Billing said that stalls would be set up by various departments where students could learn to make and sell arts and crafts items.
