AAP candidate Harjot served notice too

LUDHIANA: Candidate of the Aam Aadmi Party from Sahnewal Harjot Singh Bains has been served a notice for violating the model code of conduct.

Candidate of the Aam Aadmi Party from Sahnewal Harjot Singh Bains has been served a notice for violating the model code of conduct. The notice has been issued to Bains by Returning Officer-cum-SDM of Ludhiana-East Dalwinderjit Singh for distributing registration forms of different welfare schemes.

The SAD MLA, Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, had lodged a complaint in this regard.

Meanwhile, Bains said he had not received any notice in this regard. “We were just distributing the manifesto of our party, which is our right. No forms of the development schemes were got filled out,” said Bains.
