Ludhiana, January 7
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab affairs in charge Sanjay Singh challenged Capt Amrinder Singh to contest from Jalalabad against Bhagwant Mann and Sukhbir Badal .
Sanjay’s reaction came after Capt Amarinder Singh challenged AAP Convener Arvind Kejriwal to fight election from any seat of the state.
Sanjay also ridiculed the concocted surveys showing Akali winning the election and said: “People of Punjab can see through these gimmicks and manipulations.”
Sanjay was visiting BRS Nagar falling in Ludhiana- West Constituency to conduct a meeting with the the representatives of business and industry.
Following the meeting, Tejinderpal Singh vice-secretary of Shri Kalgidhar Gurdwara joined the party in the presence of AAP candidate from Ludhiana West Ahbaab Singh Grewal and candidate from Sahnewal Harjot Singh Bains. Along with Tejinderpal Singh, Chander Mohan Kalia, former DMC Employees’ Union chief, also joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
Yesterday, the AAP
candidate from Sahnewal claimed that 200
workers from various political parties, including ex-sarpanch, panch
and Block Samiti members of Sahnewal constituency joined Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of Sanjay Singh during a meeting in Bhamian.
