Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal today said that she had been grossly misquoted by the media on the share of the BJP in the defeat. "What I said was that the alliance did not do too well in both urban and rural areas and that in urban areas the BJP had a better influence. We fully share blame and credit in our results," she said.
Taking on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Harsimrat Kaur advised Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to go for “vipassana” (meditation) instead of casting aspersions on the reliability of EVMs. She also said the Delhi CM may have “lost” his mental balance following AAP’s poor show in the Punjab Assembly elections. “He did not say anything when AAP had won 67 seats in Delhi,” she said.
