Bittu fighting sham battle: Sukhbir

Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal on Monday said Congress leader Ravneet Singh Bittu was coming to fight a sham contest from Jalalabad so as to remain in Rahul Gandhi's good books. In a statement here, Sukhbir said Bittu also had chief ministerial aspirations, and after Capt Amarinder Singh was "forced" to contest from Lambi, he also put his hat in the ring. "Ravneet feels Rahul will get impressed by this show of bravado and keep him in mind while deciding the CM candidate," he said. TNS
