Boost for AAP candidate from Samrala

SAMRALA: Campaign of AAP candidate from Samrala Sarbans Singh Manki got a boost today when Gurtej Singh Bhagwanpura, who had fought the Assembly elections from the Samrala constituency a long time ago and is son of former Akali minister Jasdev Singh, joined AAP and announced that he would support Manki.

Campaign of AAP candidate from Samrala Sarbans Singh Manki got a boost today when Gurtej Singh Bhagwanpura, who had fought the Assembly elections from the Samrala constituency a long time ago and is son of former Akali minister Jasdev Singh, joined AAP and announced that he would support Manki.

Apart from Gurtej, the panchayats of Baghour and Bharthla also joined the AAP after deserting the Congress. The sarpanches of both villages, along with their panchayat members, stated that they would work for the victory of Manki. A number of representatives of different associations of Samrala and Machhiwara were present on the occasion. — OC
