SAD-BJP’s 13 publicity vans impounded

MOGA: As many as 13 video publicity vans of the SAD-BJP government, hired by the Information and Public Relations Department for the government’s publicity in the elections, were today impounded on the orders of Charandeep Singh, RO, Moga.

As many as 13 video publicity vans of the SAD-BJP government, hired by the Information and Public Relations Department for the government’s publicity in the elections, were today impounded on the orders of Charandeep Singh, RO, Moga.

He said he intercepted these vans on the national highway in Moga city. The staff accompanying these vans did not have any valid permission of the EC with them.

He said, “I called the DTO and the traffic police on the spot and ordered them to take necessary action.” The DTO said that he has impounded five vans while the traffic police had impounded the rest. The drivers of the vans did not even have valid documents of the vehicles with them. — TNS
