Sukhbir: Delhi CM eyeing state waters

Deputy CM Sukhbir Badal today alleged that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal wanted to take over the reins of Punjab so as to take Punjab waters to Haryana and Delhi.

Eyeing Rai Sikh votes, Sukhbir held an election meeting in Ghubaya, the native village of rebel SAD MP Sher Singh Ghubaya.

He alleged that Kejriwal was trying to finish the political careers of Punjab AAP leaders by fielding them against opposition stalwarts as he (Kejriwal) himself wanted to become the CM. But his dream shall never be fulfilled, he added. On the Congress, he said the party was in such a state that it had not been able to announce its candidate from Jalalabad. — OC
