In order to inculcate the idea of commercial prudence for a healthy economy, the The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (ICAI) organised the second edition of talent-hunt programme "Commerce Wizard" recently. As many as 15,400 students participated in the talent hunt that had two levels. The participation for this programme was open on an all-India level.
"Commerce Wizard -2017" was organised by Career Counseling Sub-group under BOS of ICAI. This was a diagnostic test that measured the concept understanding ability of a student. Unlike other tests which only try to find out how much a child knows, this test was measured how well a student has understood the concepts.
Out of the 15,400 students who participated in Level-I, 4,473 students appeared in the final level .
Out of the cash pool of Rs 10 lakh, top three students from each class received cash prizes worth Rs 75,000, Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 for the first three ranks. — TNS
