Cong former gen secy joins AAP

Ludhiana: Congress leader Ashok Prashar, known as Pappi Prashar, former state general secretary of the party, along with brother Rakesh Prashar, three-time councillor, and some other party workers joined AAP during a rally of Bhagwant Mann in Jagraon on Wednesday evening. He alleged that he was feeling suffocated because of the factionalism in the district Congress caused by Congress MP Ravneet Singh Bittu. "Since the day he (Bittu) became MP, he has created factionalism along with Bharat Bhushan Ashu, saying that I am Manish Tewari's man," he said. "I even went to meet him, but he did not listen and tried speaking to the party high command. And they only see the picture that is being shown to them. Bittu is now busy promoting his relatives and Ashu," he alleged. TNS
