5 killed as car rams into stationary truck in Faridkot

FARIDKOT: Five people were killed and two children were injured when their car rammed into a stationary truck near Panjgrain village, 17 km from here, on Thursday.

Faridkot, September 28

Five people, including a child, were killed and two children were seriously injured when their car rammed into a stationary truck near Panjgrain village, 17 km from here, on the Kotkapura-Baghapurana road in the wee hours of Thursday.

The deceased belong to Aasha Buttar village of Muktsar district and they were returning home after visiting a dera in Malerkotla.

The injured have been shifted to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital in Faridkot.
