7 booked for duping job aspirant

ABOHAR: The police today booked seven persons for allegedly duping a youth of Rs 7 lakh by offering a job in the Central government.

The police today booked seven persons for allegedly duping a youth of Rs 7 lakh by offering a job in the Central government.

Complainant Gurpreet alleged that Harmeet Singh of Dabli (Hanumangarh) claimed that he had close link with a Central minister and was capable for arranging government job for him. Harmeet’s associates have been identified as Arshdeep Singh, his father Iqbal Singh, Anil Bhuria, Rajesh Kumar, Kaptan Singh and Ratpal Singh. Gurpreet was allegedly asked to pay Rs 7 lakh for the job, but the same was not arranged. The accused allegedly refused to refund the money also.
