90 boxes of smuggled liquor seized

Muktsar: The Kotbhai police on Tuesday seized 90 boxes of country liquor smuggled from Haryana and booked two brothers of Kothe Jagdeanwale village in Gidderbaha subdivision.



Muktsar: The Kotbhai police on Tuesday seized 90 boxes of country liquor smuggled from Haryana and booked two brothers of Kothe Jagdeanwale village in Gidderbaha subdivision. The police said acting on a tip-off, a raid was conducted at the village and the smuggled liquor was seized. The accused identified as Kuldeep Singh and Nikka Singh were, however, yet to be arrested. The liquor was found stored in a pile of crop stubble. TNS
