Sangrur, June 25
AAP state co-president and Sunam MLA Aman Arora today rejected the proposal of the state Congress chief Sunil Jakhar to appoint former CM Parkash Singh as the honorary leader of Opposition and also questioned the reason behind the praise, heaped on Badal by him. Arora demanded that the authorities should broadcast live the proceedings of state Assembly like that of the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha.
“I want to convey to all Congress leaders that like them, we do not have any hidden understanding with the Shiromani Akali Dal and would not allow the Congress to keep the real opposition (AAP) away from the Assembly,” said Arora while speaking to media in Sangrur.
He alleged that the Congress got AAP MLAs attacked as they were aware that AAP would expose them with their around 525 questions submitted by their 20 MLAs.
“It was a planned attack and to prevent such attacks, we would raise our demand for live showing of all proceedings in future,” said Arora while speaking to media.
He alleged that Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and Badals and Majithias were hand in glove and that was the reason why despite repeated demands of Congress leaders, the Chief Minister was not allowing any action against them.
