Anandpur Sahib, May 23

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) believes that a growing resentment among the people against the ruling SAD-BJP will result in AAP repeating its Delhi success story.

“The party’s march ‘Beimaan Bhajao and Punjab Bachao’ has got a huge response from all districts of the state,” party national observer Sanjay Singh said on the concluding day of the Lok Chetna March of the party here today.

The march entered the district from Morinda and halted at Ropar before concluding at Anandpur Sahib where party leaders, including MP Bhagwant Mann, Punjab convener Suchha Singh Chhotepur, and Delhi MLA Alka Lamba, addressed party workers.

Bhagwant Mann urged people to give one chance to the party to form government in the state saying that the party was not for change of power but for change of system and bringing in complete transparency.

Replying to a query on internal conflict in the party, the Sangrur MP said it was the beauty of democracy in the party and every one was free to put across one’s point of view. He denied the party was sidelining Patiala MP Dharamvira Gandhi.
