Amarinder flags off 25 PRTC buses

CHANDIGARH: Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh flagged off a fleet of 25 new buses of the Pepsu Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) here today.

Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh flagged off a fleet of 25 new buses of the Pepsu Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) here today. The PRTC bus strength has increased to 1,075.

Underlining the government’s commitment to strengthening infrastructure, Capt Amarinder said the PRTC reported an operating profit of Rs 9.21 crore between April and December 2017.

In response to a question on Rana Gurjit’s resignation from the Cabinet, Capt Amarinder said the resignation was voluntary. The Commission of Inquiry set up to probe the sand mining auctions had done its job and there was no need to confuse these two issues, he added.
