Awareness week on legal services

Fatehgarh Sahib: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), as part of its nationwide “Connecting to Serve” campaign from November 9 to 18, will undertake various activities to make weaker and marginalised sections of society aware about the existence of legal service institutions and availability of free-of-cost legal services and helplines, says Harpal Singh, District and Sessions Judge-cum-DLSA Chairman.

He said a door-to-door campaign would be conducted in which para legal volunteers and advocates would spread legal awareness with special focus on remote areas. oc
