AAP convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal today alleged that instead of governance, the Badals were involved in pursuing their business interests. They captured sand gravel mining, cable, transport, hotel etc.

Addressing a rally in favour of AAP candidate from Fazilka Samarbir Singh, the Delhi CM promised to provide electricity at the cheapest rate in India within one year of his party coming to power.

He expressed concern over farmer suicides and promised to implement the Swaminathan report. Kejriwal was accompanied by former MP Ferozepur and AAP candidate from Guruharsahai Mohan Singh Fallianwala and Uttam Nagar (Delhi) MLA Naresh Balyan.

He said to improve health facilities, mohalla clinics would be opened in various localities in towns and villages.

Taking on Punjab Congress chief Capt Amarinder Singh, Kejriwal alleged that he had fleeced Punjab by opening seven different accounts in Swiss banks where he had stacked huge amount of money. “An SIT would be constituted to probe the loot by Badal and Amarinder during the past 15 years of their tenure,” he added.

He reiterated to jail Revenue Minister Bikram Majihia for his alleged involvement in the drug racket by April 15, if AAP was voted to power.

Abohar: Addressing a rally here, Kejriwal alleged that Majithia had business pockets in all segments across the state. “We will weed out drug trafficking within a month of forming the government and arrange 25 lakh jobs, while the remaining unemployed youths would be absorbed in self-employment schemes,” he said. Kejriwal later offered an apology to mediapersons who complained of ill-treatment by party activists. — OC
