Kevin Lamoureux, Canadian MP from Winnipeg North, today visited a school at Mrar Kalan village here and interacted with students and staff.
Lamoureux, in his address, said a delegation headed by their Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had come to India to further improve the bilateral relations between the two countries. During his interactive session with the students, he replied to many questions related to the education system there. He stressed the need for quality education in life and told students to study hard and achieve success.
He listened to problems of those who are trying to immigrate to the country.
He also paid obeisance at the gurdwara in Sarainaga village here. Some Punjabis settled in Canada accompanied him during the visit.
