Capt has every right to re-run: Badal

Muktsar: Reacting to a recent statement of Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh that he was ready for a longer innings in politics, former CM Parkash Singh Badal on Tuesday said he (Amarinder) could even play four more innings. “Mere vallon chaar paariyan khedan. Naa aapa rok sakde hain. Har ek da hak hai, kanoon hai (From my side, he is allowed to contest even four more elections. We can’t stop anyone. This is the democratic system and the law is same for everyone,” said Badal, who had defeated Amarinder in the Assembly elections from Lambi. Amarinder had sought votes from people saying it was his last election. tns
