Chaos reigns at Ludhiana MC as SAD-BJP members prevent budget meeting

Chaos reigned in the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation as SAD-BJP members did not allow the start of the budget meeting during general house.                       

There were allegations and counter-allegations as MLA Ashu intervened and asked the councillors to let the budget be passed.                       

Ashu demanded that former commissioner Thori be booked as he started PIDB works “without taking into confidence” the F&CC and general house.

The funds on PIDB works spent should be brought back and shared equally among all wards, he said.
