CM approves setting up of pensioners’ welfare board

CHANDIGARH: In a move aimed at ensuring the welfare of the government pensioners of the state, Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today gave his nod to constitute Punjab Pensioners Welfare Board.

In a move aimed at ensuring the welfare of the government pensioners of the state, Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today gave his nod to constitute Punjab Pensioners Welfare Board.

A spokesperson for the Chief Minister’s office said Badal cleared the file to. The spokesperson further said that besides the chairman, the board would have 10 non-official members and a senior vice chairman and vice chairman of the board would be appointed from these members. — TNS
