CM’s I-T case adjourned till March 12

LUDHIANA: Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and his son Raninder Singh’s revision petition filed against summoning order by the CJM in an income tax case was adjourned till March 17.

Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and his son Raninder Singh’s revision petition filed against summoning order by the CJM in an income tax case was adjourned till March 17.

Revision petitions were pending before the court of Additional Sessions Judge DS Johal but he stands transferred to the High Court as OSD. So, the case was transferred to the court of ADJ Rajiv Berry but he was on leave today.

In its complaint, the department alleged that Raninder attempted to evade taxes and penalties, an offence punishable under Section 276-C of the I-T Act.
