Ferozepur: A man posted as Superintendent in an engineering college reportedly drowned in the Rajasthan Feeder canal on the Ferozepur-Moga road on Monday morning.



Ferozepur: A man posted as Superintendent in an engineering college reportedly drowned in the Rajasthan Feeder canal on the Ferozepur-Moga road on Monday morning. Gurmeet Singh (46) of Jingalwal village in Hoshiarpur district used to work in a lab of the electrical engineering department of the college. His family members claimed he drowned accidentally while immersing some religious material in the running water. His two-wheeler and mobile were found on the banks of the canal. Though a team of divers tried to search for the body, it could not be traced. OC
